Jharkhand Bijli: JBVNL (Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited) is a DISCOM utility of Jharkhand state. It is connected directly to ordinary consumers of energy-receiving bodies. It was formed after the dissolution of the Jharkhand State Electricity Board on 06.01.2014, JBVNL came into existence as a distribution licensee company to maintain electricity supply across the state and at present the Managing Director, Mr Rahul Kumar Purwar is headed by IAS, Jharkhand.
